DV Rides started small. A few neighbors in Dominion Valley who kept noticing each other's cars in the driveway. The conversations turned into meetups, the meetups turned into a club, and somewhere along the way it became something we did not see coming.
Seven years and seven auto shows later, we have grown into a group of enthusiasts spread across the entire DMV region. People come from across Virginia, Maryland, and DC for our shows. Some have been with us since 2018. Some found us last summer.
What has not changed is the spirit. DV Rides is a place where the guy with the resto-mod from his garage and the guy who drove his daily here both feel like they belong. We do not sort cars by price tag or pedigree. We celebrate what you brought.
What we are not
We are not a show-only club. We are not gatekeepers. We are not the people who roll their eyes at your stock 4-cylinder or your check-engine light.
Most of our members would call themselves fans first, builders second. We love the cars at our shows because of the people who brought them. That is the whole thing.
What we do
Every summer, we host the DV Rides Auto Show. It is our flagship event. Cars, trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles. Once we had a boat. Once we had Power Wheels. Everyone is welcome to register and show.
Throughout the year, we host AutoMeet, our recurring casual meetup. Park up, talk shop, see what is new. Lower pressure than the show. Higher frequency.
The whole thing is run by volunteers and powered by the community. Every show supports local causes. Every sponsor is someone we genuinely trust. We keep the lights on through small contributions and big hearts.
